Mannys music in NYC is also closing.
I'm surprised that "music & arts" isn't taking them over like they seem to do a la walmart.

Manny's was deficiently honest from the outset (and I mean in 1959). They stopped selling anything but guitars and electronics years ago. You couldn't even get Rico reeds there. It's no great loss.

Gee whiz - I may stop reading here this morning. it's depressing. I did not realize how much Manny's had changed, but I bought my piccolo there many, many, many moons ago...
