 clarinet repair person in Ireland

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good place for clarinet repair in Ireland? Preferably in Dublin or Belfast as I live in Belfast and spend some time in Dublin. I am looking to get my (approx 10 years old) R-13 clarinet overhauled.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

there are 2 top quality repairmen in Dublin - there's Joe Walsh in McCullough Piggott's - they're in the city center, just opposite the Powerscourt Townhouse center, and then there's Paul Ryan's in Temple Bar. Both are top quality. I prefer Joe, because I've had him work on my instruments a couple of times, but they're both excellent. Hope this helps!

Hi,

Thanks very much for that! I think I'll try Joe Walsh.
