I've noticed that a number of bb posts have have had good things to say about the Cordier reed trimmer. Do any of the sneezy sponsors sell this item? If not, where could a guy find one and are they rather pricey?

I just got one from wwandbw for $24.95. I didn't shop around. I don't know if any Sneezy sponsors sell them.

I would check carefully for I have seen some that do not cut a nice straight tip. I personally would take a reed to a music store and try a few out before I bought one.
I have one clarinet Cordier that is impossible to get a clean and even cut with. I use it for a paper weight mostly!

Mark,
I can't let you say that you don't think any SNEEZY sponsors sell them, especially when I do.

Peter

WW&BW, Int'l musical suppliers, Muncy, Twigg's in Montreal. $25 USD plus shipping. Even eBay has them on occasion.
They're all over the place.
To echo Larry Guy's post elsewhere, check several if you can. They are not all the same.
Mine is in excess of 20 years old and it works as new.
