Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone, and happy birthday to my Buffet Crampon B-12 clarinet. "Beauty" is 23 today, and is playing wonderfully after some refurbishing. When Irish Eyes are Smiling.........

TKS, Cindyr, It was a Happy S P's Day! At our "retirement" home, we had a good group {Kilkenny Road} playing old Irish tunes, more jigs than ballads, violin, flute, hammer zither, bodram, a bit of singing. An hour each at our I-L and A-L areas, enjoyable, tho we don't applaud much! Enjoyed an Irish Harp at our Social [Happy] hour later, so just had to rescue your thread from oblivion. Only complaint, they played Danny Boy [L D Air?] too fast for an emotional tune IMHO, I played it slowly down in the dark chal. and also Eyes Smiling , How Are Things In Glocomora etc. Don

Thanx, Mark, Don
