I think (pretty sure) all Leblanc models are made in USA, in Conn-Selmer's factory in Elkhart (someone correct me if this is wrong).

Don't know about mass producers but there are individuals:
Guy Chadash in the US
Stephen Fox in Canada

I was under the impression that the bodies, bells and barrels
of the Backun Leblancs were made in Canada and the instruments
assembled in the US.
And the French Leblancs are still made in France :-)

Okay my mistake, I guess the Concerto/Opus/Sonata,/Noblet et al that are still available are the last of the France models.

I thought the Leblanc Concerto II and Opus II were still made in France - as well as some of the wooden student models (except Vito).
Ricardo, have Leblanc really closed their French manufacturing plant in La Couture Boussey for good? That is such a shame if they have.

AFAIK Leblanc stopped all manufacturing in France, and sold theor factory in France to Buffet. I think, but not sure, that they are still making the French models (e.g. Concerto, etc.) but they are now made in USA (also probably in the Conn-Selmer factory in Elkhart).

NOOOOO!!!! Please, no! This is a very sad thing for me to hear. While I haven't been happy with their newer instruments, I kept expecting them to revive the L200 or something someday.
This is a sad, sad piece of information for me to hear. (sniff, sniff -> wipes tear from his eye).

Well, I'm a Buffet person but I do respect the Leblanc instruments. I had a chance to see the Bliss clarinet. Very cool looking. Didn't play it, though. No MP with me.

Compare the typical quality of instruments from Elkhart, compared with that from France or Japan....

I don't know the present status but the Elkhart plant had a long labor strike in recent years.
