My wife got tickets for the Syracuse Symphony with guest conductor and clarinetist Carl Topilow. What should I expect?

His CDs, which are of pop and light classical music, appear at http://www.clevelandpops.com/cd.htm. He also plays a Yamaha Custom CS with a crystal mouthpiece http://www.yamaha.com/Artists/ArtistDetail/0,,CNTID%25253D32502%252526CTID%25253D551000%252526CNTYP%25253DARTIST,00.html. The red one, though, is definitely a Vito, including a red mouthpiece. The Vito plastic mouthpieces are not bad, particularly for pop.
There's a performance on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACWLGhcdwbw, where he demonstrates his ability to bend notes -- which he's apparently well known for http://forum.saxontheweb.net/archive/index.php/t-2106.html.

I used the play in Wind Ensemble with Syracuse's Principal Clarinetist Allan Kolsky.
Fine player, really nice guy. He did his Masters with Combs (undergrad with Gigliotti). If you see him, please say hi from me.
