Dear Sir
Anyone knows about this clarinet? Made by Herald Heuyng Dusseldorf.
Is it anything to do with Clement/Herald Wurlitscher?
1. Bohem system
2. Number : #9860 - backside of the
upper/lower joint.
3. 250 shown on the front of the upper joint.
with mark of Huyng Dusseldorf.
Is this professional model or student?
Do you know how much can buy this? if you know.

And if you're still wondering how to pronounce Hüyng, it rhymes with doing (doo'-ing).

But why the upper joint shows just 250? No 6 front?

Dunno, but all his models start with 6xxx, so maybe it isn't explicitly stamped.

RhoiJoe,
Is your clarinet the same as in the photos?

Hi Chris ..
I do not have idea which photoes you mean? Where you find my photo?
The clarinet i carry in the photo might been not that one Hueyng's. but it must be Festival of Buffet.
I just try to have an idea if i can buy the Hueyng clarinet , currently i have Festival Buffet.
I tried once recently Hueyng clarinet Bohem system, of course second hand one, it is better sound i guess than Festival.
Do you have any tips for my decision? Can you help me with any information for me to chose or not chose it?
Thanks
Rhoi

Here's a photo of Hüyng clarinets: http://www.hueyng.de/index.php?id=44 Compare the keywork on these with the Hüyng clarinet you have.
These clarinets are Reform Boehm system (mainly played in the Netherlands and most noticeably by the Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra clarinettists).
I can't help you to decide which clarinet is better for you, you will have to play them both and compare them to see which clarinet you like best between the Buffet Festival and the Hüyng.
