Has any one tried the Fobes Cicero Mouthpieces? If you have I would like to know your experience with them? Also, what size reeds do you recommend with them?
Thanks,
Luis

I tried the more closed tip (the 11). I felt the sound was extremely bright and my teachers agreed. It was an excellent quality mp, but the sound just did not work for me. I was trying it with both Rue Lepic 3.5 and V12 3.5, and perhaps I should have tried it with a stiffer reed, but the resistance with the V12s felt just about right, for me. I think that these could be a definite consideration for a trial, alongside others, but definitely try many different mpcs.

I have tried them and found them to be excellent mouthpieces. Those I tested were well balanced with a nice full sound. They were very comfortable playing mouthpieces. You might contact Clark to get his suggestions for reeds. He is very helpful.
