Hey, that was probably an underground recording of their first "take" and never meant to become public. The second one that aired during the ceremony was probably enhanced by the sound engineers and, let's face it, they were no longer sight reading. Also, JW probably simplified some of the more challenging technical passages for the clarinet, like Copland did for Benny.
