Good morning fellow clarinet enthusiasts, the Earth says hello! I greet you warmly by the hand.
I have a sort of talent show coming up, and I have been urged to enter playing clarinet (naturally the reason I post here). I need to fill up three minutes of time, but wasn't sure how. I'm a junior in high school, mind you, so I can't play anything too intense but I'm pretty fluent.
I was thinking about playing Flight of the Bumblebee, but that is only about a minute and a half. Also, I don't want to run the risk of bad practice and ruining my chromatic scale...
Are there any other songs that run around a minute in a half to accompany a piece like that? If I play Flight of the Bumblebee, I want to play something less known that shows off my musicality rather than technique.
Any other suggestions?

Why not segue into Scot Joplin's piano piece "The Entertainer".
Known by many people as the music from the movie The Sting.
As in bumblebee sting?
Don't know if the music is easily available but I'm hearing it on clarinet in my head, and it sounds nice.
Moderate pace too so a good contrast to that fast piece.

Ravel's Piece en Forme de Habanera. Different and interesting, short, and not difficult.

Play Flight of the BB faster and this will leave time for Stranger On The Shore,Old Rugged Cross or Danny Boy.....or even Petit Fleur
