Can anyone recommend some klezmer pieces for a recital with clarinet and piano?

Don't know if tis would work for a recital, but for general playing enjoyment sheetmusicplus.com has a nice book called Play Klezmer, which has a CD accompanyment.

I recommend Daniel Galay's "Klezmer tunes".
Here you can listen three of them:

Bela Kovacs has a piece out called Sholom Aleichem Rav Fiedman.......several different styles.....all quite authentic (though they are all original pieces) and the keyboard parts work well even though the pianist may not have much experience with klezmer music.........I've programmed it once and used it as an encore twice.......very well received

The Bela kovacs piece is really well written and would be my first choice for doing something with a pianist that's not familiar with the klezmer idiom. I recomend listening to Kovac's recording. It's on Bela Kovacs plays clarinet... Just a little bit differently. He is a real master of different styles and based on just the Sholom Aleichem piece he would be one of the best klezmer players around today. There are the wedding dances by Simeon Bellison that are also very nice to play. But if you perform any of these, please listen to some klezmer music!
