I've been playing a Leblanc LL for a long time waiting to find a good R13. Instead I found an Opus and I love it. It's a new Opus I that sat on a shelf at a music store for a LONG time. A super even scale and predictable intonation was obvious immediately. The more I played it the more I fell in love with the timbre.
The only bad thing is now I have to sell my LL to pay for it. I'm used to all the extra keys of the LL so Im happy the Opus has at least the aux Eb
My M15 works very well with this Opus. Are any of you playing an Opus?

I bought a Leblanc Opus 12 years ago. It is a beautiful clarinet, as you describe. I play with an RM15 (and Alexander Classiques #3)
I have quite a few clarinets, and it stayed my dream clarinet
Until I bought my first Couesnon Monopole last year
For less than a tenth of the price of the Opus
And I don't get to play the Opus much now.....
Interestingly I picked up an 18/7 LL about a month ago in fantastic condition with both its barrels, but for the need of a repad. I'm looking forward to overhauling it in the next few weeks to see how it compares
Chris
And always looking for an excuse to get out the camera......
