Not the R13.....
When I use the serial number search for this clarinet on Buffet's website I get the model 1113. It has F in front of the serial number which makes sense since it was bought in France. This is the RC model, but according to charts (like Chris J posted here recently) the RC model is 1112, not 1113 (for a Bb, which this clarinet is).
So does 1113 also mean Bb RC model (which this clarinet is) or maybe something else? Maybe means the French (European) version?

Clarnibass,
The “F” designation is indeed made for the European market and probably tunes at A442 or higher.
I purchased an “F” designated A clarinet in NYC back in the 70’s. Didn’t realize it was a European market clarinet until much later, which explained why I was always sharp…
When I used Buffet’s “Find your serial number” function, I needed to omit the “F”.

Thanks.
I know it's a European model (the F in the s/n). I tried the serial number search with and without the F and without worked but found the model 1113 that I mentioned.
Anyway I also asked Buffet and found an answer from them.
Thanks anyway.

The 1113 is exactly what the this clarinet is, a (European) RC (supposedly tuned to 442). The differnce between this and the 1111 model (440) is that this comes with a 65mm barrel, and the 1111 comes with a 66mm barrel. I don't know if there are any differences other than that.

The actual model number would be:
BC1113-2-0
That's the actual Buffet model number. Just like an R13 Bb in silver would be:
BC1131-2-0
