This is just a curiousity of mine, and possibly a resource for anyone who wants to try different bass clarinet reeds. What are all the different bass clarinet reed makers, and where can their reeds be purchased?
I have tried:
Vandoren
Gonzalez
Rico Grand Concert Select
Legere
Glotin (discontinued)
(all can be bought from Muncy winds)
And I have seen:
Rico (Rico Royal)
Bay
Bari (Bari Star)
Fibracell
LaVoz
Olivieri Plastic
Marca (only seen on ebay, anyone know where you can get them?)
Alexander Classique*
Gigliotti Advantage*
Selmer Primo*
*1Stop Clarinet and Sax Shop
What are some others? Even obscure ones. And also where you can get them, please.

I like Rigotti Gold 3 1/2 medium reeds available at Roberto's Winds: http://robertoswinds.com. Music123.com used to have them, but apparently no longer carry them. I think they also used to have Marca bass clarinet reeds, but I haven't looked there in a while.

I really like the Legere's. Only reason I'm using them is because I'm playing Reed 5 in Guys and Dolls along with Bari Sax (which I'm also using a Legere reed). Otherwise I would prefer regular cane reeds, and that of Vandoren. Really preference though. As far as where to get some others, Howarth's in London (if you're okay ordering from overseas) also has some different brands.
