Recently I collected information on clarinet mouthpiece materials from journals and the web. There was quite a lot of info, but it was very scattered and fragmented. I thought folks might be interested in a summary, so I organized the info and posted a review at my website http://www.carolinaclarinet.org for anyone that wants to know basic information about clarinet mouthpiece materials. There are many links. If you're already an expert on the subject, it's probably not for you. But if you're not quite sure about terminology, brand names, properties of materials, claimed effects on sound and playability, you might find it informative. It's long but there's a table of contents so you can use it to look specific stuff up pretty quickly. For questions and comments, feel free to contact me through the EMAIL link on the site.

In general, good work. However, there is one correction I would like to make: Chadash-Hill mouthpieces are also made from custom-produced rubber that is a copy of Chedeville rubber from the 1930's.
