Two years ago I traded my plastic Vito (plus some cash) for a refurbished Guy Humphrey. I love the sound, it is so much richer than the Vito. I figure its the difference between the plastic and the wood? The music store owner talked me into buying a Brilhart Ebolin #3 mouthpiece and I've settled on a Mitchell Lurie 3 1/2 reed. I really know nothing about equipment. Is this set up appropriate for an advanced beginner? Is anything about it grossly inadequate or inappropriate? Should I be thinking about any improvements?
Thanks
