Does anyone have some suggestions? I have looked at some sites such as WWBW and Muncy but there is a very limited selection.
I am also looking for varying lengths of barrels to try. My stock barrel is short and I have to pull it out a couple mm to get in tune.
I have a Noblet Eb wood clarinet.

I use a Chadash barrel on my Yamaha 681 effer. I has a more "woody" sound than the stock Yamaha barrel and plays the throat tones more in tune. Also, the high F6 & F#6 seem more managable. What makes the most overall difference is the Fobes extention--a much more resonant B4 and more even clarion register.

They are available from many sources, including that online auction that we can not name.
Eb barrels are highly variable. The socket sizes can vary from one horn to another, even within the same model.
I found one stock barrel waaayy underbored when compared to a similar stock barrel (quality inspection issue? wrong model? who knows.)
Fobes, Backun, myself and others make aftermarket ones, but some of the retailers have stock models available.

One of the advantages of working with a custom maker is that he will design the barrel to your specs and, if necessary, adjust it for you until you are satisfied.

Allan Segal makes very nice barrels. I have a Fobes Eb that is great.

I used to play a Noblet, and can tell you that on mine the tenon was way too small to fit a Buffet barrel like the Chadash. Others may suggest custom barrels that may help. I chose to upgrade the whole horn to an R-13 and a Chadash barrel.

C. Robert Scott makes some excellent Eb barrels. I put one of those on my E11 clarinet and it transformed into an instrument that can rival my friends prestige. No Joke. Also you may want to look into barrels that have the cut out on the top so that you can use a Bb reed with your Eb mouth piece. Good Luck.

Again, beware of the barrels designed for Buffet instruments. They will not fit your Noblet (unless yours is radically different from the one I had.)

Right now I'm going back and forth between a Chadash barrel from Greg Smith and the Fobes. Both are very nice and give somewhat different tone quality. The Chadash produces a little bigger sound, the Fobes cuts some of the Eefer edge off.
As the other posters have noted Eb barrels and perhaps the upper tenon on the horn seem to be at more varying dimensions than on other instruments, even with the same maker. Several of the barrels that fit fine on my R13 did not work on the Prestige. However, the makers were very nice and made barrels that fit my horn perfectly. If you are near enough to one of the big outlets like Weiner's or WWBW you might be wise to bring your horn and try the barrels there rather than sending barrels back and fort from the makers.
It's odd that the Noblet is sharp. I had one many years ago that was flat and I needed the short barrel. Could it be your mouthpiece?

Thanks for all the input everyone.
I am planning a trip to WWBW in a few weekends and I am taking my Eb with to hopefully try some barrels and mouthpieces. Their selection is limited, but I should be able to find some differences trying various setups. If they do not have anything to my liking, I will have to start looking elsewhere. As suggested, it might be worth trying some custom barrels and go from there.
