In the subject of vintage clarinets and cautionary purchaces, which companies and models had pewter keys? Do any companies currently use pewter for making keys?

Do you mean Mazak? As entire keys and key pieces can be die cast in bronze and nickel silver, Mazak keys have gone by the wayside for quite some time now.
Pewter is fairly similar to Mazak but the only instances of pewter I know of in woodwind instruments was on older flutes where the low C and C# keys had tapered pewter plugs instead of pads.

B&H used to use it until the '60s (eg. UK market B&H "77" and also the wooden Regent from the '50s - later Regents had nickel silver keywork), various East European and former Soviet Union makers used it until more recently.
Yanagisawa also used it for the tilting Bb spatula on their saxes (as well as metal coated plastic) though they use brass now.

So, basically, only B&H and a few Yanagisawa's had them???
Ps. My main concern is the unsolderable type that was used in low end B&H.

I would suggest looking-up the alloy compositions of pewter [very old?] and the high Zinc [cheaper than the nickel-"silvers"] alloys which tend to be quite brittle, Key Breakage? Luck, Don

And the old bakelite oboes and clarinets from the Communist era you'll find listed on eBay.

And the other odd name that was possibly made by B&H. Besson comes to mind, but there is at least one other, starting with 'B'.
And also some cheap Turkish clarinets.

Besson clarinets are B&H. There were Buisson clarinets with mazak keys and Orsi.
