I doubt too many have tried out the Boehm version, as it will not be debuting until next year's Clarinetfest, per the website. Apparently, if you are willing to visit them, they will let you audition one by appointment.

i live 10 miles from the guy's workshop . He did some repair on my clarinets and did restore an old albert clarinet for me .

He did test different models for his new clarinets and did work together with claudio puntin for his models . The clarinets that i did test were very good intonation wise , very light compared to my selmers , very good response , nice keywork.

When the pro's like them , it should be oke for the technical part of it . The rest is personal preference.

He 's also a well-known flute maker . ( gosch flutes ) Seems that flute making is a lot more difficult then clarinet, so i was told .

Mr clarino , what types of music do you play ??
