BTW, in case you were wondering, although Chuck is suffering from cancer and wears a chemo dispensing device, he still performs regularily in the Milwaukee & Chicago areas and has not lost a beat.

I've never heard of Chuck but he's very, very good. I like his relaxed approach and his sound is great. Also he weaves interesting musical lines that go to good places. Wonderful listening ....

Yes, he does just that. Never heard him play a bad note, ever. I like to remember the Sunday afternoon that Chuck's sextet was the opening act for Buddy DeFranco at the Bunny Berigan Memorial Jazz Festival in Fox Lake, WI. Chucks artistry that afternoon made Buddy's jazz sound pale in comparison.
