 Leblanc clarinet
Author: Simon

I bought a Leblanc Bb clarinet about 8 years ago. The model on the warranty card is LX 185. I have had a look in the Lablanc catalogue recently and cant find this model. Can someone please let me know if this model has been discontinued , and if so what is its equivalent new.

Hi Simon - I don't know that model, but Leblanc is very good about providing that knd of information. Their address is G. Leblanc Corp., 7019 Thirtieth Ave., Kenosha, WI 53141; tel. 800-558-9421.

Hi Simon, LeBlanc changes cl names frequently, believe your L 10 [I have an L7and L70!!, very similar] "graduated" to L2000 and has much similarity with one or more of the Concerto/Opus family. Look up their ads and compare "nominal" bore sizes and configurations, polycyl, reversed cone etc for more info. Perhaps Dee [or a music store] has a more recent catalog than mine or inquire from LeB themselves. . Luck, Don
