Hi everyone,
New to forum, this is my first post.
Have a Yamaha 450 which has a hairline crack in upper joint.
It was bought from new about 14 months ago so have returned it to the dealer to return to Yamaha (has a 2 year warranty).
Just wondering whether you think Yamaha will replace or repair it.

If the surface of the timber has the black dye on/in it, and they fill/glue the crack, then re-paint on the dye to hide the glue, then you possibly will not know either way. :-)

Unless the replacement joint is only serial-numbered when fitted.

Or is more likely to be the joint without a serial number.
