I've got a very thin crack in my R-13 on the top joint closest to the barrel down to the pad of the top trill key (about 2 inches in length, but very thin).
Is this something that can be fixed and if so, should I get it fixed? I have no idea how it could have happened. I'm super careful w/ my clarinet and I haven't hit it on anything nor have I played it outside in cold weather (I don't play it outside any for that matter).

Yes and yes. Without fixing it, there is a risk the crack will continue and eventually might get into the bore. Also since it's cracked at the edge of the tone hole then maybe the pad can't seal it.

This can help in some cases but sometimes it makes no difference. I have a new clarinet (only a couple of months old) and it cracked. It never even left my house since I have it, and I only played it a bit. It was in the case for a few days and next I take it out I see it cracked (during those days in the case). It was in the same place and same conditions that all my clarinets are in for years, without cracking. You can help but you can't really control it.
I suggest t go to a (very good!) repairer and have it repaired.

If the crack goes to where the pad seals on the tone hole, then it definitely needs attention.
Seeing it is thin, I would recommend just very low viscosity, top quality superglue. The skill/experience is in getting a good cosmetic result.
