A terrific concert recording of the Boston Symphony has appeared on SymphonyCast, featuring William Hudgins in two clarinet-heavy works, the Dvorak Cello Concerto and the Beethoven 6th. Go to http://symphonycast.publicradio.org/ and, if necessary, click on the Nov. 24 link.
Great playing.

I attended that concert, Thomas Martin played first in the concerto, William Hudgins played the Beethoven. They both sounded great although I didn't find the overall performance amazing. Michael Wayne played 2nd.

Thanks for the info. On the podcast, I liked both performances a lot.
