Do any of you have opinions about the RSR Bass Clarinet? I've just run across them for sale. They're from Richard Ross.

No opinion regarding the bass clarinet, but as a result of this vid, I tried and eventually purchased a Pomarico Jazz * crystal bass clarinet mouthpiece which he plays in the demo. BTW, it sounds much better on my Buffet Prestige 1193-2. I'm returning the Jazz ** model this afternoon.

Something very unique to this bass clarinet is that the moment you start playing you automatically have a very big reverb

Maybe I'm wrong, but is this instrument yet another of the Chinese-made Yamaha-copies-in-hard-rubber being sold under dozens of brand names, including Ridenours?

A maze of twisty little choices, all alike?
(sorry, geek joke)
If it is, and if Ridenour is the same instrument, Tom must be doing something special to get the price difference.
