My Leblanc LL is missing the metal tenon cap. I bought it with it missing (unknowingly). Because it is missing, there is a gap in there...and I don't know how big of a deal that is in terms of playability.
Anyway, I just won a very cheap leblanc clarinet on Ebay for under $100 that has a metal tenon cap. My guess is that it's a VSP or an Artist Noblet based on the picture.
Will I or a tech be able to remove the tanon cap and replace it on my LL? Or should I just leave the LL alone?

Have your tech fit a new cap.
It's rather unlikely that removing the donor cap will leave it unblemished. And whether or not it will fit is a different story altogether.
Now, if you don't know what to do with that VSP or Noblet you have bought, I have an idea or two...

Any tech of worth should be able to make and fit a new one.
