 Paul Remme’ clarinet

Hello everyone

When I was younger, I was given an old clarinet to play for "stage band". It's a bautiful sounding old wooden clarinet and I played it for years. But I have NO history about it and when I tried to research it, nothing comes up! How could I possibly own something that doesn't exist? LOL The name on the clarinet is:
Paul Remme’
Paris

Does anyone have an idea where this came from? Or history on the instrument?
