I've seen some from about that time that have bodies made in France but with German (E11-type) keywork....someone else may have a more accurate answer for you though! It's prolly a good sounding horn. If the keywork was made in France, the bridge key would have the "ears" the upper joint. The German keywork has the ears on the lower.... It's my wife's old clarinet, and it also served duty for my daughter and later for me, until each of us upgraded. They are pretty decent horns. Good clarinets for the money! Ours is a D 223XX and I believe it dates back to the mid-to-late 1960s. It still has very nice wood on it, even given its heavy use. Of course, it has been treated with love and GrenadOil!
