I have a Buffet Crampons B flat that was purchased in the late 60's for between $450 and $600...There are no identifying marks...
Can you advise on the model or possible models and estimated current value?

It's probably one of the R13 series. Check the serial number, which is stamped on the rear of the clarinet at the bottom of each of the two largest sections of the clarinet (the LH and RH joints). You can key in the serial number at the Buffet site, and they can identify the model and when exactly it was made.

I own a set of Buffets from the 92,000 - 96,000 series from the early 60s. I believe the only professional model they made then was the R 13, could be wrong though. I don't remember having a choice when picking out my Bb and A, both in the 60s. I'd say it is worth about a thousand dollars if it's in really good condition and plays well in tune and the bore hasn't changed. That's a lot if ifs so it depends on the condition.
