 Tremolo fingerings
Author: Allen

I am trying to learn the Waxman Trio for oboe, clarinet and bassoon.
It calls for a tremolo between second space Ab and first line Eb. Any hints on fingering for this one?

Allen, my suggestion would be to use the normal fingering for Eb - thumb, first and second fingers, with the third finger on the little Eb key under the second finger. You can then tremolo using the Bb trill key. The Bb trill key is the second one down, of the series of 4 right hand trill keys. It's not perfect, but it's the best thing I know of. Good luck. -- Nate Zeien
