Hello. I know that the topic of case covers has been discussed many, many, many times on this board, but I did multiple searches and was unable to find what I was looking for.
To give you an idea of my situation right now, I'm a college student, I have a double pochette case, and I have an altieri bag. Now, I'm sure this question is different from any cover question that's been asked here. Every thread I've seen has been asking about a case with more storage space. Now I'm asking about case covers for a different reason: I want less storage space.
As great as the Altieri bags are (they keep everything warm, they have a ton of space, etc.) they're simply too bulky when I have to walk across campus or board an airplane, ride a trait etc. I've been looking at getting a bag that is slightly less bulky, I wouldn't mind if it held less. I have a few friends (none of them clarinetists) who use Cavallaro bags, and I've been considering one of those for my case. I also wanted to ask what the general consensus is on the Buffet bags. Has anyone used these? And if so, how do they compare to Cavallaro and Altieri bags as far as insulation and storage space goes?
I also have a small side question. I want to get a triple case so I have less to carry on longer trips. I was looking at the Gigliotti case, but I was wondering how heavy these cases are. I have a double attache case and it's a little heavy for my tastes. The Giglotti triple case looks like it would be about the same in terms of weight...if not slightly more. Would this be an accurate assumption?
Thanks in advance for any answers anyone can provide!!!

I have a Cavallaro case cover. It fit very well on my case. It is snug, unlike the Altieri, but that seems to be what you want. I have had it for 4 years and it looks the same it did the day I got it.
