There are a few wooden Vito models such as the 7810wc, but I am sure if you google "wooden Vito clarinet" it will yield several more results.

Possibly, I can't recall any. The next student model in the Leblanc line is/was? Normandy and they were both woods and plastics. Luck, Don

Yes, but one is never sure if the statement is true. Rumour has it that before Vito Corleone came to America he made clarinets.

With a quickie look at a Goggle[d] search results, it seemed to me that most claims of wood Vitos were prob. "wood-grained" plastics, at least after the 1960's ?? ascention of Vito Pasacucc [sp?]i to head Leblanc. Bob, what pics I've seen of Vito, I don't believe he is/was the "Godfather" type, a "trial balloon", perhaps ? Don

The Vito line had a model that was wood and made in France that was considered the top of their lineup and a great step-up instrument. It was called the VSP. I had pretty good results with them. It was intended to be an intermediate level instrument. They no longer make this model.
