Listening to our local public radio station this past Thursday there was obviously a lot of music dedicated to the victims and families of 9/11. It reminded me of some music I recall hearing a few years ago on 9/11, a lovely, simple piano piece that at least referenced the adagio movement from the Mozart clarinet concerto. Seems like it was a cut from a tribute album of sorts.
I'd love to hear the piece again, but have no idea where to begin to look. Any suggestions or by chance does anyone know what piece this is?
Thanks.

Don't know, but try searching YouTube for "911 music"

I recall [and likely have a copy of] a clar trio, 3 Bb's, just entitled Adagio, Mozart, from the booklet "Clarinet Sessions" which was quite melodic/somber. I often wondered what its K # was. Hope it helps, Don
