 Clarinet make/model???

Hello everyone! I’m new here and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify an old clarinet I’ve come across? The only markings on the instrument that I can see are “National Paris” that is actually marked on 2 different places on the clarinet itself. The mouthpiece has “M.C. Gregory, Los Angeles / Mickey Gillette model” markings on it. The piece that I assume would be called a reed holder (the piece that slips over the mouthpiece and has 2 wing nut type fasteners on it) has “M” and underneath that is “Martin” and then underneath that is “France”. I’ve tried to google information on National Paris clarinets, but have come up empty. I’d appreciate any help with trying to identify this instrument. Thanks in advance! Greg.

Here are some pics to help to identify:

I can't seem to find a serial # anywhere to help with I.D. Is there any special place to look that I'm missing?

The mouthpiece and ligature ("reed holder") tell you nothing about the instrument. They are completely interchangeable between clarinets. Ditto the case. Even the barrel and bell are quite often "borrowed" from other instruments.

There should be a serial number stamped into the wood, usually on the back of the instrument. If there is not, one might wonder if the instrument has been stolen.

If you do a Google search on Mickey Gillette, you'll find a link to Sax on the Web. A bit of further searching leads to http://www.theowanne.com/mouthpieces101/Gregory.php.

Nice photos. Strictly a guess, but mine would be that it was used by a sax player who doubled on clarinet. How do you judge its playability?

"L" shaped throat key posts
barrel trill key guide
single post/pivot for LH Lowerjoint spatula keys
can't see a throat adjusting screw
straight top LJ pad cup arm

old SML stencil ??
or just another french no-name brand ?

some more pics of the clarinet itself would be handy, both from the front and back
