Indeed. With claims like "Without doubt one of the highest specification and best quality student clarinets on the market" and "Universally endorsed and recommended by clarinet teachers", who's to argue with that?
My Selmers are now landfill - why waste time with those old fashioned wooden things when there's real quality to be had at a fraction of the cost?
They forgot to add "Universally despised by woodwind repairers and technicians (though some Namir members may still give them the time of day)".

They do have some use when they become unplayable within the first month:
During a powercut, assemble the clarinet and drop the pullthrough string up the entire length of the bore and mouthpiece so it sticks out from the mouthpiece tip by around 10-15mm, turn it the right way round and stand it up on it's bell in a Pyrex bowl, then light the end of the string sticking out the top and you have yourself a candle.
I'm sure with the quality of the plastic used to make these (which isn't far off paraffin wax), they'll make reasonable quality candles.
Only the fumes may be more toxic.
