Hello,
I was wondering whether there was an online music store retailer in Canada that people would recommend? Thanks

Why, oh why can't people who sell used clarinets put a photo, the serial number, or at the very least, the age of the instrument?

There isn't really an online retailer in Canada that offers the kind of easy one click ordering that US retailers do.

Okay, so if there are no great Canadian online retailers, then who would you suggest from the US? There has been so much talk about liability concerning the big companys, so where do most people order from then? I need to find a place that sells clarinet assecories (sp.) , as in reeds and swabs. Thanks in advance

Adrianna just get the best reeds and swab from the Doctor at www.doctorsprod.com
The legend swab and Xilema Professional reeds are the way to go. Great personalized and fast service.

I second the Doctor. I have been ordering accessories from him for two years and am ecstatic with the great service he offers! Service and quality second to none. http://www.doctorsprod.com

I wonder why the OP wanted a Canadian store when her ISP displays as being in PA.
I do mail order from Gary Armstrong's store...but I get on the phone, check stock and have them UPS it to me. Generally arrives next day where I am.

I actually live in Calgary, Canada. I was posting from my work computer, and somehow the ISP location came up as Newton Square, not sure how or why???

OK, that explains it.
Is there anything specific you're looking for? Ordering within Canada is certainly faster and cheaper, but it's hard to find a store that has everything.

I was looking for a good source of Vandoreen reeds, and then just general maintance products, such as swabs.

Gary's store is pretty good for stuff like that, though it may be worth checking the store Steve recommended to see if their reed prices are better.
Gary will ship UPS or Expresspost to AB. If you go to their website, they have a toll free order line for Canadian customers.
