Hi, What can you tell me about the Leblanc Classic? Is it a pro level clarinet?

Buying one, several years ago, for a grandson, he played it quite well, private teacher approved, but is now a stage-managing graduate With Job !! I believe it dates from the 1950's and was Leblanc's top cl of that period. Try a Search, Don

Having worked on one recently I can offer the opinion that it was an excellent clarinet in all respects and I believe Don's comment on them above is correct.

I had a LeBlanc Dynamic 2 which was a big bore clarinet that I sold to a good friend. He still has it and loves it (same vintage).
My LeBlanc L200 is my backup for the Yamaha CS Custom that is my #1. The earlier LeBlancs were fine instruments. I have always liked them.
There should be lots of older posts that can be found under the search function.
