We are giving one of my daughters a BD party 9/30 and I thought it would be nice if I could play happy BD for here
( I currently play only the G & F scales -- have had only two lessons thus far but I'm still in there). I wonder if anyone knows (has) where I might get the music for this. Should I say how old she will be? Okay, I'm givng away me age here (some of you already know). This is her fortieth and she's my next to oldest.
Thanks for the help.

I would just try to learn it by ear, that's how I learned it. If that won't work, you could ask your teacher. It's not a stupid question either, I think it's cool that you want to do that.

I wrote Happy Birthday for recorder (C) and clarinet (Bb) or two clarinets on this page:

Don't know if that is what you are looking for.

Jerry,
Rene's URL has exactly what you need. Play the upper line of the main piece. If the notes are too high, take them down an octave and they'll fit between your low and middle G's.
Good luck.
