I have a Selmer Signet 100 I'm trying to sell. It is 5-6 years old (SN 264XXX) and is in excellent condition. I just had it overhauled. What is a fair price and does anyone know of someone who'd like to buy it?

Figuring a fair price is fine on the BBoard (there's really no other place to go besides checking eBay for comparable sales) but please use the "Classifieds" (they're free) to put it up for sale.
Thanks,

Jen-
I'm disappointed that no one has commented on the value of your Signet 100. So, here's my 2 Cents worth.
Signet was Selmer's intermediate student line of clarinets. The Signet 100 was the least expensive of the three Signet models I know of. Since the line is out of production, yours may be a little older than you think, or may have been old stock when purchased.
Regardless, a comparable instrument purchased new today might have a list price of $600 to $700, with a selling price around $500. I suggest your instrument would be worth a minimum of $200 in working condition, or $250 in very good condition. In nearly mint condition with a clean case also in mint condition, it might be worth over $300. You could start high, but lower your price if no one expresses any interest.
Mark's Classifieds is an alternative that can reach a large audience. Also, if there are any music stores near you that sell band instruments, some may be willing to sell yours on consignment.
