 Yamaha CSG-H tarnish update

I recently posted that my 2 year old CSG with Hamilton plating was showing some tarnish on the keys. Per the suggestion of Tomoji Hirakata of Yamaha Artist Services in New York City, I purchased the Goddard's Silver Polish cloth which contains silver polish/cleaner embedded in the cloth. The cloth worked wonderfully! It didn't take much effort at all to have the keys looking brand new. I also purchased the Hagerty anti-tarnish strips and placed 2 of them in my case. Time will tell if they really keep the tarnish from coming back. As per some of your suggestions, I removed my mouthpiece from inside the case and now have it in the external pouch.
Thanks to all for you input.

be careful that you don't walk into a wall. once your mouthpiece gets chipped, it's almost impossible to save. you can always put your mouthpiece in a plastic bag and store it in your case.

Our inventions are wont to be pretty toys, which distract our attention from serious things. they are but improved means to an unimproved end, an end which was already but too easy to arrive as railroads lead to Boston to New York
