Hans Gal, a composer who dies in 1935 has a "Serenade for Clarinet, Violin and Cello, Opus 93" which is an excellent work, some 22 minutes long which goes very well with the audience. It is somewhat like Richard Strauss (Gal knew Strausss) and is for Clarinet in A, and really works quite well. I performed this on May 4th at The Unitarian Church in Montreal. The publisher is Simrock, (who was Brahms publisher, by the way).
