In the sheet music of 'The Wedding Song'by Kenny G for Soprano Sax, there was a marking NC over a Fermata(spell?). Does anyone tell me what does this mean? Thank you.

It usually means "no chord", and I suspect that's what it means on that sheet music. Hope I'm right! ET

Thanks earl and Kim.
By the way, this is the first time I bought a Jazz(easy one) sheet music. I found they show only concert pitch melody line and accompaniement, and the soprano sax playler ,B flat, has to transpose to his own scale. Namely one tone up and change E flat major to F flat major.

Hiroshi: Eb goes to F not Fb. Fb = E and would be only a halfstep higher. Jim
