does anyone here know of play along cd's for manouche/django style playing

heard one guy once in the streets of brussel - but was working , so couldn't leave he building to ask

After the page loads, click the down arrow beside "ACCORDES ET GAMMES" in the middle column to open the drop down menu. Scroll down the menu to "JAZZ MANOUCHE - SWING." Pretty good sized list, most of which appear to be instruction materials but many come with a CD so patience browsing through the descriptions may be rewarded.

Also try Googling "gypsy guitar" without the quotes (and its European variants), maybe with "accompaniment."
