I bought a book titled 'Cambridge Companion to the Clarinet'.
I found the most conspicuous chapter is 'Contemporary Clarinet'. This section tells fingerings for altissimos above C4,multiphonics,and microtones.
By the way Antony Pay writes a chapter concerning clarinet mechanics.

It also gives Bass clarinet fingerings where they are different from standard Bb soprano.

I tried the quarter tone fingerings and was very disappointed. On my clarinet, they do work, but they come out about one quarter the volume of normal notes. I presume this is because they are "forked" fingerings where the vibration is split between two different tone holes.
