 Fobes Eb Extension User ??

This may be a stupid question, but when using the extension, what is the best position for the tone hole? Or doesn't it really matter?? Just received mine and plan to give it a good try tomorrow on my Yamaha 681.

1st answer:
I have a great 681, but I don't have the Eb extension (yet). I do have a C with a resonance hole in the bell, and two of the other clarinetists in my quartet have the same bell hole, but different manufacturers (Ridenour, Buffet, Amati). We always kept the hole facing back, thinking that the hole looked strange. Once someone commented on the hole, we tried an experiment to see if it made any difference on which direction it faced; it didn't, for us.

2nd answer:
Clark puts a very nice looking logo on the extension. Aim the logo forward for the world to see while you're playing.
