I found something that I would like to share with this group. I found audio stream recordings of Larry Combs performing the Mozart Clarinet Concerto on bassett clarinet. The accompaniment is not an orchestra. It is, however, just winds (the Eastman Wind Ensemble). The scoring is done by Robert W. Rumbelow.

when it says (on the website) "accompaniment for rental only" does that mean the parts (in which case i'm not exactly sure what you're buying for your $1... the score?) or is that referring to a CD accompaniment or something along those lines?

the $1 is referred to the cost to download an mp3 of that particular movement. I am sure the rental for the wind parts will cost more.

Awsome. I've never heard a wind ensemble play with such awareness to the soloist. It almost sounds as if Mozart had intentioned it to be played by a wind ensemble, but then again we are talking about THE Eastman Wind Ensemble.

This is a great find! Wish I had discovered this recording a month ago when I started learning the Rondo. I performed the Rondo on Bb clarinet as my senior solo earlier this week. Larry Combs sounds great!
