Wayne,
I've got a wooden Evette and Schaeffer (K9268). I don't know the exact age, but I think it was made in the 50's. The E&S was an intermediate grade instrument. A music store said mine was probably worth $1000 to $1500 new. In the archives I've heard that the K serial numbers were actualy reject Buffet R13's (although the info seems to have disapeared from the archives). The value of your instrument will vary alot depending on condition, but it could probably sell for a few hundred dollars.
I'd apreciate it if you could answer some questions for for me:
My bore is extremely small. What is the bore size of your instrument compared with an average clarinet?
Have you had any tuning problems? Mine is very flat. (Does it have a shorter than average barrel?)
Curious, do you have the disgusting orange artificial leather case?
Thanks,
Ben L.

The mouthpiece is probably worth more than the clarinet. If it really is a Kaspar and is in good shape it could be worth around $200. Put it up on the eBay auction and watch the numbers roll up...LOL

Actually, if it's an original 13 Kaspar and hasn't been refaced and is undamaged, it's worth up in the $450-$600 range.
