To Ken Shaw or any other reader,
It was recommended by someone that I read an essay written by Ken Shaw on Weber's Concertino. Reading his extremely educated answers on the subject of classical music and clarinet playing, in several of his posts, it makes me curious as to exactly who the wise Ken Shaw may be.
Is he a professional clarinetist/teacher/something of that nature? Or some sort of yet-to-be-discovered clarinet guru?
Sorry if my question may seem stupid to some. I am somewhat new to the clarinet and to the "who's who" in clarinet playing.
thanks so much,
Taryn(einklarinette@aol.com)
An email would also be preffered, since I do not visit boards often.

I agree. There are many wise ones on this board, including Dee, Katherine, Lelia, Mark, David, Hiroshi, Eoin and, of course, our beloved webmeister. I learn something new from you almost every day, it seems. So thanks to you all, and to all those I didn't name specifically.

Hi, Taryn -
Deejay echoes my sentiments. There are many contrubutors to this site and we all benefit from their input. I haven't noticed any gurus or know-it-alls here. On the contrary, I've discovered something about this board that's pretty unique; there's no such thing as a stupid question :]
Your input is as valuable, and every bit as much appreciated, as everyone else's.

An apology to you, Beejay -
(That's *B*eejay - sorry about that, Beejay. My typing skills reflect my clarinet fingering skills these days :[
