 Clarinet Neckties

Go to Ralph Marlin website & look at Instrumental Ties under the Ralph Marlin line. This is a Polyester Tie that retails for $17.50 at their mall stores. (Auburn Hills, MI, New Orleans & more... sorry no toll free #'s) They will ship anywhere in U.S for approx. $5.50. Have looked for higher quality ties like silk, etc but have been unable to find anything with comparable designs. Saw several people @ ClarinetFest wearing big ole clarinet neckties ... where the clarinet took up the whole tie to the point that if you weren't watching closely it almost didn't look like a tie, one would do a double take. Have seen severa where there was a small clarinet. Nice but these really JUMP out at ya. Interesting. mw

One of the GREAT things about being retired----is no more neckties.

Heck, you don't have to be retired to avoid wearing a necktie. I own my own business & wear a tie 10X a year when only when I speak @ Seminars, etc. or attend court sessions as an expert. Nevertheless, there are other occasions where a necktie is appropriate attire.

Fuhgeddabouddit ... and on to important matters!

These "theme" ties are a HOOT! If u have to wear a necktie on occasion, these are the neckties to wear! mw

I think maybe in a previous encarnation I must have been a horse thief as I have this thing about wearing a noose around my neck. Does anybody make these in a clip-on style?

Yes, Don, that is correct. The Marlin Necktie is available only in Polyester and is $17.95 + the aforementioned 5.50 shipping, unless the buyer lives close to a mall like Auburn Hills. Marlin claims that the Polyester Necktie is a high quality item & for the price one can't hardly go wrong. Sorry don't know of any Clip-ons. Marlin didn't show any clipons at their website, http://www.ralphmarlin.com
Good luck. mw
