I am having a lot of problem with air leaking from my top lip. I have tried several things, but nothing seems to work. I am interested in seeing what some people think that might help this problem. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks.

Your best bet would be to invest in a private teacher, who can sit with you one-on-one and help you. You don't even need a pro tutor, I've a had a really great college guy teaching me for the past 3 years, and he's a lot better than some people who are considered pros and make a living off of teaching. But if that's not an option for you you could try using a softer reed, or firming up your embouchure. There's not much I could tell, without further details, and its even harder to give advice online witout seing the sitation myself. Hope I could help at all!

i was having the same problem then I remembered that I had forgotten to put in my teeth. (smiling) (joke) (only kidding)
Seriously I adjusted the reed over to the side a bit and it was ok. Sometimes the smallest things help.
have a nice night

You may be relying too much on using our upper teeth for all the support that you need. Try using a double-lip-embouchure (Mark, is this the correct spelling?) for a while. That will teach your upper lip to be firm and retain air. Then, when you return to your conventional method, your upper lip will be more supportive to your sound. A private teacher would also be of great assistance. Good clarineting and good luck.

Check by the picture at the top. It's there for "copy 'n paste".

I am also having a little but of an air leak problem, (partially because I just switched mouthpieces) and I personally find that really annoying.
Usually, I've found that if you really concentrate on pulling in the corners of your mouth, that'll usually close the leak. I think the reason for most leaks is too much pressure coming from the top and bottom lips and teeth, and not enough from the corners.
Also, it has a lot to do with endurance. If you've just moved up to a harder reed, or changed your mouthpiece, or set-up in general, your emouchure hasn't had time to adjust, so you have to rebuild your embouchure into a different shape to accomodate. If you concentrate on it for a while, maybe even just a few weeks, it should clear up.
Hope that helped!!--Lindsay

How about these?
1.Try to make the upper lip inner side contacts the teeth raw. (Just like Count Dracura.)
2.Imagine to exhale air onto reed surface, not into the mouthpiece. (Just like bringing away a feather from your nose tip.)
3. Set the upper teeth 8 mm from the tip(many people set this too deep) and the lower lip 17 mm from the tip.
All these are written in Keith Stein's 'Art of Clarinet Playing'.I remember.
